Sears Complaint - 15% Restocking Fee - Microwave
SCRANTON, PENNSYLVANIA -- Customer service at Sears has to be one of the worst to deal with. I went to Sears to purchase a microwave that online said it was instock at my store. I went to the store and the microwave was not instock and the sales associate said he can order it and have it in the store in a week. I order the microwave and it was delivered to the store. I notice online before I was going to pick the microwave up that a addition bracket kit was going to be needed and Sears did not supply. I went to the store to get a credit for the microwave. Remember I have not pick this item up. The cashier rang up the credit with a 15% restocking fee. After dealing with the cashier I asked for a manager who might be able to help. The manager was VERY RUDE and kept pointing to my receipt about the 15% restocking fee. I told him I did not know of this policy and was never told before ordering the microwave. Keep in mind I never pick the item up so it was not a open box and there is nothing saying on my receipt or online that this is a special order. I also called Sears Customer Service Line and was told about the same thing as the manager and could not help me but offer a coupon. I don't want a coupon I want a full refund and will NEVER due business with Sears again. Now I am left with fighting my credit card company. If I loose that fight, I will fight further through the local court system. I'm going to see the unjust outcome to the end.
Sears - NEVER AGAIN!!!
