Amercredit Complaint - Harrassment - Financing

Review by Too Hot on 2009-11-25
Yeah this company keep calling me and I told them I was not the person and they keep calling my phone. I told them to stop calling my phone and by law they're suppose to stop but the people said they were going to keep calling me and they won't stop. Then when I called the company to get their info they told me I can't intimadate them and get the info the best way they could. This is not professional!

insist they prove you are the person they are looking for. that will send them to the edge trying to prove it. if they send you anything in the mail, return it un-opened with 'not as addressed' on it.

I had a similar problem with my cell phone. A woman with a name that sounded like Ann (last name) must have had my old number before me because I got nothing but her old friends, debt collectors, appointment calls, and overdue blockbuster calls. I kept having to tell the debt collectors that whoever they were looking for gave them a CELL number and no longer owns the number. Didn't stop the calls until it kept happening for months. If I ever meet a woman named Ann (last name) I'm going to punch her in the face for being a stupid (insert derogatory term for a woman's reproductive organs).

I had a number once that evidently belonged to a gambler... None of the calls I got ever went to the gambler and there probably were a LOT of P.O'ed people who's bets were never placed... I'd take the info on the bet and promptly forget it...
