Aussie Hairspray Complaint - Aussie spray bottle problems

Review by Kimmy D. on 2009-11-27
I've had problems with the hair spray bottle. After several uses, the sprayer seems to be plugged up. I purchased the full sized bottle and it plugged up an I tried rinsing it with warm water with no luck unplugging it. I also received a sample sized bottle when purchasing their shampoo and I couldn't use it from the start! I wonder if the Aussie company ever tested the bottles before distributing them. I tried to contact the company about it but couldn't find a way to email them.

i bet this is the pump bottle. i too have noticed this before. seems the better hair sprays are stickier, and have the cause to clogg the nozzel.

not sure if pumping water thru the pump nozzel and draw tube will help. maybe the clogg is inside the nozzel.

We have used Aussie for several years in the pressurized can. We learned early on to wipe the nozzle off (finger will do) to keep it from drying over the hole. You can scrape it off with a finger nail if it does.

This is the main reason I stopped using Aussie sprays. I used to use the sprunch spray but always had to throw the bottle away half full because it would stop working no matter what I tried. I still love their 5-minute conditioner though.
