Stokley/van camp Complaint - Very poor quality - Van Camp solid white albacore tuna

Review by janevander on 2009-11-29
SOUTH CAROLINA -- I recently bought several cans of the solid white albacore tuna, and to my great disappointment it looked the Bits and Pieces from the bottom of a barrel. I have bought cat food that looked better. For this I paid 75/cents per can more than the chunk light. If this quality doesn't improve, you will lose many future sales. This is not the Van/Camp that I remember! Thanks for listening, Jane Vanderbush

Jane,my dear, buy the tuna in pouches. It is higher quality, you don't have to drain it, and it is all around a better deal. And I don't say this because my father was working for Stokely/Van Camp in Indianapolis when he was killed in 1948. Try the pouches, I can virtually guarantee you will be happy. I don't remember Van Camp doing tuna, but maybe I just never have been in a part of the country where they have it.
