Geek Squad Bestbuy Complaint - Did Not Repair Laptop

GRESHAM, OREGON -- Geek squad needs to be shut down. They only do a half repair and send your warranty laptop back to you without the operating system that you paid for when you bought the laptop. My screen went blank in this 7 month old laptop and was under Gateway warranty. Took to Bestbuy and the Geek Squad sent it out for repair and when picked it up there was no operating system iin it. Took it back and they would not do anything about this. I had to buy a recovery disc from Gateway for 20.00 and when I tried to install it the laptop had a blank screen again. I called Gateway and after several attempts to get the screen on it I was told to send it to the service center for Gateway which cost me another 35.00 for shipping and insurance. I assumed they the Geek Squad sent this laptop to the Gateway service center but that was not the case. There repair from Geek Squad only worked for on time and then the screen went blank again. So they did nothing to fix the problem.

Do not shop or have anything repaired by the Geek Squad best but they do not care about customers just there bottom line profit. A very unhappy customer.
