Suncoast energys Complaint - Price gouging continues... - Gasoline price

Gasoline price - Complaint
Review by slapjack on 2009-11-30
ORLANDO, FLORIDA -- On November 23, 2009, I filled up at a Suncoast gas station north of the Orlando airport before returning my rental car. There was no sign on a post mentioning the price but I had seen other stations in Orlando with a price of $2.67 a gallon. I figured it might be higher near the airport. I filled up. Only when I was finished did I realize the price was $4.599 a gallon. PRICE GOUGING is alive and well at Suncoast. (I know I should have paid more attention to the price on the pump.)

No wonder they did not have a sign-nobody would stop! I don't know FL law, but in my State the pumps (at a minimum) must have the price on them.

i thought all place had to have a sign for that?

The pumps in Florida all have the price of the gasoline on them. Contact the Department of Agriculture, weights and measures if they do not.

Thank you for the money. The local economy appreciates it.
