Travelocity Complaint - Travelocity Motto: Always blame the customer
Travelocity used the wrong flight numbers for my daughters' flights home after the Thanksgiving holiday, so they didn't have seat assignments, and, as the flight was overbooked, they were bumped until the next morning. (They weren't the only ones affected--a total of 6 Travelocity bookings were messed up--just on that flight!).
After a total of more than 2 HOURS on hold, the supervisor explained that this was MY fault, because I'd "failed to reply to an email sent on Oct 5 reporting a flight number change." Wrong!
1). The email said (in bold) "There is no need for you to call Travelocity at this time", AND
2). My daughter DID call them anyway, and was told everything was fine (this is also evidenced by the fact that their flight to us on Thanksgiving was without incident).
So, the supervisor flat-out LIED to me--and used the lie as an excuse to not pay for the hotel room my girls needed that night.
