Newport News Complaint - Infuriating experience
This past May I ordered two bathing suits and two pairs of pants from Newport News. I was thrilled when the order arrived much earlier than anticipated...but completely digusted with the sizing. I am about 130 pounds and, in short, needed to return the suits for a SIZE 18 and the pants for a SIZE 14...seriously? I literally coudln't pull these things up. I normally wear juniors size clothes. I returned the package via UPS, where it was received back June 13...long story slightly shorter, it is nowDecember 2nd and the money has just been refunded to my account. Why no exchange, you may ask...I was told by several people at their CS line that an exchange had gone out...weeks go by, I'm told they're out of what I want, but they'll send me a gift card, liek I'm ever shopping there again. I was told to call them when I got the card and then they'd refund the price on my credit card...who does that?!?! Needless to say, the card was never sent out and I spent months trying to either get my money or get my clothing exchanged. During my 2nd to last call the woman who helped me stated she would email me the comapny's "decision" regarding ym refund within 48 hours...another 3 weeks go by, nothing. I finally go tin touch, last week, with a horrid, rude woman who insisted she sent the card. Then, lo and behold, the money magically appears in my bank account today. I have neverd ealt with such rudeness, incompetancy, or lack of customer support. NEVER AGAIN.
