Sears Complaint - Sears Service Agreement - tough sell tactics
The display on my 3 year old unit went out. When I made the appointment, I was told that I had to choose between labor + part ($129 + part) or a $279 service agreement that was only good for one year. I asked how could I make a decision if I didn't know how much the part would be? However, I had to make a decision before they would schedule the appointment.
Sears has moved its service call center from the U.S. to offshore, so the whole time I'm trying desperately to understand the scheduler.
I have loved my Kenmore Elite appliances up until this point but I'm done with Sears and I will be contacting the Attorney General's office in Florida to see if the Service Agreement is even legal.
