British Airways Complaint - British Airways On-Line Scam
When my wife and I booked two flights by using our miles we did so after we telephoned 3 different times and we talked to 3 different British Airways telephone agents. All of which told us there would be no charge for making any cancellations, unless we did so by telephone, therefore we choose to use the on-line method when we canceled.
When we had to cancel near the end of November 2009 we discovered the full refund was not credited from our bank statement. I called and talked with a British Airways telephone agent named Nora, who understood my complaint (see above) and turned it over to a supervisor who said the full refund would be issued that he had made this request for us via an e-mail. I was told that because I was given incorrect refund information and that a telephone agent said I was now informed of the British Airways refund poilicy so a “full one time credit” would be issued this once.
Much time has now passed and we have still yet to get all of our promised refund.
I have made over a half of dozen phone calls and I am still waiting for the full promised refund and I am now very disappointed in how I am being ignored and treated.
Way back in 2003 I should of known how dishonest BA was when they refused to credit me 2 European trips worth over 20,000 miles. Since that time I only would fly virgin, but I wanted to to at least use my miles.
What a scam and bunch of dishonest people at BA.
