Air Canada Complaint - Rude crew
I boarded the plane with my rolling carry-on bag and placed the bag in the overhead compartment in the available space above row 12 then took my seat in 15C. The rest of the passengers boarded and I was busy getting myself settled. Right before take-off I was told that my bag had to be moved to the back of the plane because the overhead compartment could not close. Keep in mind that this is a carry-on bag and it easily fit in the compartment with ample room for the door to close. Due to the fact that the flight attendant moved my bag to the absolute back of the plane, I then had to wait for every other passenger to get off the plane so I could get my bag after landing. To show the flight attendant that my bag did, indeed, fit into the compartment in question, I replaced it there and the door easily closed. Her only response was that she must not have tried hard enough (whatever that means). My real irritation came when the pilot overheard my discussion with the flight attendant and interjected himself without knowing any of the background. He approached me, hollered something about not having to take this kind of thing from passengers, picked up my bag and actually threw in out into the jetway.
