Kotak Mahindra Life insurence Complaint - Poor service of Kotak Lic
My name is Raj Kumar Yadav, I have taken a policy from Kotak LIC on 4th of May 2009, Policy no is 01590905 plan name Kotak Smart Advantage.
I have taken this policy by Pushpendra Mishra (Agent) I guess his RM is Arvind I don’t know exactly I believe he is from Bajaj capital who sale the policy of Kotak.
Approx 6 month has passed and still I have not received my policy bag I followed from starting to get my policy bag but no one was responding on that first Pushpendra was saying I will give your policy bag I am following on that then he told someone is Arvind he is the right person for that then Pushpendra send two mail to Arvind for my Policy Bag but Arvind was also doing nothing neighter mail nor Phone then suddenly I came to know your address was given wrong so that it could not reach at your address if address was wrong then why anyone did not give me call from Kotak?
I have called approx 7 - 8 times in customer care of Kotak and everyone given me different information regarding the same also they provide me two different case id i.e. 1786871 second one I don’t remember, someone told me your six month has completed and you have to pay penalty which would be RS 700/ I don’t understand where was my fault then I went Kotak LIC branch of BikaJi Gama Place in New Delhi and submitted the form for Address correction request form and duplicate policy bag there Mr. Varun Walia wa s following for that and and finally I got duplicate policy bag after six month.
I am very frustrated since I taken this policy, first I followed lots for my policy bag then after six month I have to give the request form for duplicate policy and now when I am not happy with term and condition and service the I gave the request for policy cancellation.
As per policy document I have cancelled this policy under 15 days i.e. 9th of November but still I did not receive my refund money, while where I cancelled my policy ( Canaught Place New Delhi Branch) they told it will be refund within 7 to 10 working days. I called 4 time to customer care and they informed it is under investigating and call us after three or four days but when I called last time i.e. 30th Nov customer executive (Martha) said policy cancellation has rejected due to freelook period has been over and your policy can not cancelled and it is become continue. I don't understand how it is over period and how it could continue without information?
I don’t understand the service of Kotak if this is a service then I will have to say Sorry Kotak Lic is providing very poor service to their customer. I am very frustrated every month required Amount was deducting from my Account and I had not my Policy Bag.
Can someone help to get my money refund?
