RBS Citizens Bank platinum Credit Card Complaint - Do not get this card, horrible customer service
I have had this credit car for 4 years now. I never had a problem un til recently when I was a couple days late on a payment. I called the first time and they were able to take away the late payment fee and I requested they change my payment due date. So I had no problem that time.
However the next month I went to pay, my date had not been changed. I called 2 days after and told them that I had requested the date change and was planning on paying that day. Well they said that the date change might take a couple of cycles to process...(would have been nice to know) I told them I was not aware of that and they didn't even seem to care. So then she tells me now not only am I going to get a late payment for that but the month before I had a higher payment due because of the past late payment. So I paid my normal payment, assuming that if they were crediting the late payment that would be sufficient. But no it wasn't so I ended up getting 2 late payments.
So I told them I was transfering my balance and closing the account and she still didn't seem to care. Why is it always the people that pay their accounts and actually have a balance where they are getting money from me from interest they get ripped off???
I would not recommend this card, because they don't give you ALL the information when you call and they are misleading.
