Hyundai Motor America Complaint - Disappointment - 2005 Hyundai Accent
I am surprised that Hyundai has had any success in America. I have had my car for four years and the maintenance necessary for this car is like having to make an exta payment every few months. The front brake pads wear out quicker than any other vehicle I have ever owned. The flushing and replacement of auto transmission every 30k is expensive. The dashboards lighting and clock work erratically. I had to replace all the suspension. When the back windows are down there is a tremendous amount of pulsating wind noise. The horn has never worked. When I picked up the car the dealer had removed all the floormats and I didn't notice for a few days. It seems like the car was well put together but each individual part is of the cheapest quality that the company could get away with.
I would not recommend that anyone buy from this company if they intend to keep a new car for more than one year.
