Value City Furniture Akron, Oh Complaint - Worst Customer Service In The Whole World!!!!
AKRON, OHIO -- December 5,2009I had purchased a loft bed and a desk for my daughter for Christmas. The items were to be delivered between the times of 12pm and 3pm, I find that to be crazy but I can live with that. Well 3pm arrives and I call the canton store where the items are coming from, only to be told that the delivery men were running behind due to some furniture not fitting in a home that they were in. Now is that my problem "HELL NO" it's not, so they tell me that it would be an additional forty five minutes. At this point I need to leave my home because I have been their all day. I talk to Elizabeth at the canton store who tells me to go ahead and leave and they would call me when they are enroute. So I leave and come back only to be told that the delivery men attempted to call me and that they had been to my home. Now all this long time I had been in contact with some young man at the Howe Ave store by the name of Brian or Frank because Frank is the name the other sales associate called him while I was their, his last name is Mr. Lyons at any rate. Mr. Lyons calls the canton store for me and then he tells me that the delivery is on time and everything was fine. Now I have spent all day waiting and being inconvienced by Value City Furniture. This has been the worst customer service in the world, and I wanted the number to the corporate office and they told me that things are held at the store level. If you don't get what you need at the store level what do you do. Mind you they did refund my money but how rude. What a bunch of liars. I am still looking for the number because I would still like something to be done about this. Value City Furniture makes a lot of money and they need to be held responsible. I would suggest people spend their hard earned money at some other fine establishment. Not this whole in the wall with poor customer service.
