Sugarcraft, Inc. Complaint - Really rude people out to get you.

2715 DIXIE HWY. (RT. 4),HAMILTON, OHIO -- I made an order from these people, they seemfine at first. A day later I get an email requesting more information, Photocopy of credit card and written authorization for charging to the credit card. I got a little worried but then thought that they maybe justbeing careful, so I sent them what they wanted. Then I get another email stating that they could not ship the order to a different address than stat3ed in the credit card statement. So I just decided to cancel the order, too much complication for a $ 50.00 order. Their answer was that they would cancel but to allow 30 days for a refun????????

Sounds really fishy, meanwhile I have no product, and they have the use of my money for (30) thirty days, if I ever get it back. The whole thing seems like a scam.

PS. They are also very rude

I am the owner of Sugarcraft. The only reason we would ask for such ID is when a credit card won't clear through our machine. It can be one letter of a word or wrong street add. etc. When it won't go through the normal way we ask for proof that it is their card before we ship. We absolutely will not charge a card until we know it is safe. And why we had to issue her a credit - when we try the card, even if we don't get a match, it still goes into their account. Then it 'hangs' and won't verify. We wait for the proof she refused sending.

The way I found out about this - a nice lady who has been a customer for a long time told us. She was searching for our phone number and she came across this. She said she voted. She disagreed highly with 'anonymous'. We really bend over backwards for our customers. Its just too bad there are a few bad people in this world, but there are.

Not a week goes by that someone tries to scam us. Like today, someone ordered 90 cases (30 to a case), of gingerbread houses. His credit card is a NO MATCH.
