Magellan Informative - GPS....customer support
After talking to several customer service reps for Magellan I was getting the feeling that this company forgot what it meant to take care of its customers needs until I spoke with a gentlemen named Raphel Finelli. 3 previous reps were VERY scripted in the answers to my questions/complaints. Raphel was very helpful and actually made me feel like a human being that mattered. He did everything in his power to satisfy my complaints and expectations from the company.
Please be very wary of products that you buy on their website....especially "Map updates" Make sure that you call the customer support to find out if its truly "up-to-date". I found that I almost bought a map that was from 2006 and todays date is 2009...but they didn't mention in the advertisement that it was only "up-to 2006"..they made it sound like it was the "MOST up-to-date" map available.
