Totally rip off
I have earned a total of 168 points (Truepass = 2 & 68 points), and when I attempted to deem my award per Jetblue statement
1. “No Blackout dates applys to Jetblue operated flight only …”
2. Old Trueblue points, safe and sound.
When I attempted to redeem my point for a trip home to FL, your website will not allow me to doing that. I called the Trueblue help line at 1-800-538-2583, and after got put on hold for 40 min; the service representative stated that the award is not available between Dec 16, 2009 to Jan 2010. She also stated that if I want to go home during that period (12/09 – 1/10) I have to do either:
1. Redeem the point 6 months in advance
2. Purchase a ticket for a price of $ 964.20 (Going out= 344.60 – Coming back = 619.60)
What is the meaning of “No black out dates” and “Old Trueblue points are safe and sound”
Is there a restriction in “fineprint” in the reputable airline - Jetblue documents - just like any local used car dealer to trick their customer?
I understand that, with today economy everybody wants to save every “penny” but this is a dirty trick to earn a penny! Wal-Mart is a penny profit company but they earned it
