Diamonds International/Royal Carribean Complaint - Diamond fell out 3 TIMES!

NEW YORK, NEW YORK -- I bought a ring in the Bahamas while on a cruise with Royal Caribbean. I have had to send it back 2 times and I have only had it back a few days when ANOTHER diamond fell out. They won't refund my money, they just keep fixing it. It sucks. I want my money back. I don't want a ring that looses diamonds every week.

Doesn't sound like Royal Caribbean has anything to do with this complaint. Do you have a local jeweler that can look at it and maybe give an estimate to fix it right? May be inexpensive and the path of less resistance.

Even if this jewelry store is on the cruise ship, it's a separate store that leases space from Royal Caribbean.

I had a similar problem. I purchased a $1900 ring while on a cruise and a little over a month after I got home a diamond fell out. I contacted the CEO of Diamonds International and got my problem resolved. It took almost 5mos but I got my money back.

SlimJim has the right idea. Take it to a good jeweler and see if he or she can fix it properly. It will cost you a couple of bucks more, but it might be worth it.
