ISTANBUL -- We booked a hotel in Venice, with Book in Hotels, a sham of a company in Istanbul. We payed them $1,467.14 but when we arrived to the hotel in Venice we learned the Turks had never booked a room for us!I talked to a female in Istanbul and she assured me she was going to reimburse the hotel right away. She never did so.
I wrote to the Turkish attache of tourism in NYC about the fraud but never heard from him.

I've heard many complaints like this. Unfortunately, you probably will never see your money again. Book directly with the hotel next time.
