Delta Airlines Complaint - Faulty ticket information
SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA -- I purchased a r/t ticket from VIP Travel in San Diego in 10/2006. I had to cancel the flight for medical reasons. The travel agency told me there would be a 100. dollar penalty when I ready to re-schedule another flight. I asked if there was a time limit. They said, no problem, just call Delta Airlines and give them my ticket information. That it would be on file. Well to my chagrin, when I called Delta last week(12/2009)Delta told me they would have to audit my ticket from the files. Then a customer representative informed me via e-mail yesterday that Delta probably has no record of my ticket because after 1 year they get rid/drop the ticket(my money...my purchase)from there files(and just pocket my 341.20. The travel agency(VIP)and Delta so far have not provided me any documentation showing me my contract-limitations.10/2006.
