Secure horizon Complaint - What I thought
I thought when I called AARP to sign up this elderly lady I was doing the right thing. The first thing I got a card that said "AARP/Medicare Complete" and underneath it said from secure horizons. I called only to be informed it is throught secure horizons. No one said that. So AARP contracts it out to this company. first problem, the decline this 78y/o medication. when I called they said she should do a sleep study, of which she has to pay $3,000. the patient has been taking "Provigil" for "Lethargy". You cannot get a straight answer from anyone there. they keep transferring you all over. (2) she took sick and had to be send to the hospital via 911, behold the hospital cannot verify her insurance and no nursing/rehab center will take her because of this insurance. I have until the 14th December to do something, the hospital cannot keep her. Anyone have any ideas???????????
