Bank of America Complaint - B of A credit card online payment system
I have a B of A Choice credit card. It has a low balance and I have paid it on time every month for 2 years using online thru B of A myeasypayment.com. It worked great until Oct 2009 when they said I forgot one of the numbers in my routing or check account number. So no payment went through. Then they said I did it again in November! That's nuts. I might do it once but not 2 times in a row. So from the middle of Nov until today I have made umpteen calls, talked to several people including some whom I could not understand. They would take the money over the phone but charge me $15. I said 'no' as no one at Choice informed me of the 'problem' until 6 wweks later. I send a check to the address listed on the website on Dec 1st. Today is the 13th and they said they do not have the check. It hasn't gone through my bank yet. Where is it? So they took the payment over the phone and did not charge me the $15 since their records showed I had been calling about it. What a mess that place is! I'm paying off and cancelling this B of A card. We built a new house in New Mexico financed by B of A and it was such a mess the contractor said he would never build another B of A financed house as payments were never made to him on time. They are too big and cannot take care of their customers.
