Martha Stewart/KMart Complaint - Christmas Tree - Lights not working
In November, 2008 I purchased a 71/2 ft. pre-lit Christmas tree at KMart. It was great and after the holiday season, stored it away. This year, upon taking it out to put up, guess what? No lights. Knew I had a 3-year guarantee and went to KMart with it. They said I would have to contact the company on the guarantee card as they only cover 90-days. Called the company and they stated I needed to FAX all info (receipts, etc.) to them. I said I did not have a FAX and needed the tree NOW for a party I was giving. The best they could do is some lights they will send, so they say, and which I have not gotten.
This tree was $199.00 and what a rip-off. How about the 3-year guarantee?
