Lowe's Complaint - Billed for product not received.
On September 29, 2008, there was a purchase made on my Lowe's credit card that I did not make. The store where the purchase was made is approximately 80 miles from my home and it occurred while I was at work.
I have contacted Lowe's on multiple occasions and also faxed the requested information almost as many times as I have called. The last few times that I have called, I have been connected with reps who do not allow me to speak or interrupt me and Customer Service managers who refuse to come to the phone when asked.
I called once and was told that it had been resolved, there was a zero balance on my account, and my account had been re-activated. Not long after that, the balance had been returned and the calls started again.
On May 26, 2009, after months of frustration, I put in writing that I am to receive no calls at work, home, or on my cell phone. This has not deterred them whatsoever. I continue to receive up to 3 calls daily (according to my caller ID).
Being a former loyal customer, I am very disappointed in the treatment I have received and the battle I have fought for over a year. I will not step into another Lowe's store and encourage family members and friends to do the same.
