Sears/Kenmore appliances Complaint - There are only problems with Kenmore appliances

Review by karen224 on 2009-12-14
TAMPA FLORIDA -- I have my refrigerator for 3 1/2 years now,
I have notices a crack about a foot long on the inside refrigerator wall. It is getting larger and larger.
I went into the Sears store, complained,,they coulnt do anything for me(no warranty)
I called Sears and Kenmore, nothing can be done, no warranty, I see this as a defect in the product. To them it doesn't matter. No warranty, no help. Should a refrigertor only last 4 years??
One lady told me maybe a jar of mayonnaise fell on it. Can you believe that?My washer/dryer same age, is cracking on the top.
Never Never buy Sears appliances..then they wonder why they are going under.

We've had bad luck with Kenmore refrigerators too - our last one was noisy from the beginning, ran all the time, and developed odd dents - its sides turned concave. It lasted about 5 years.

I used to work for Fridgidaire (Spelling?) and about 9 different 'brands' of freezers went threw the same assembly line, built by the same people, with the same parts. The only difference was the logo put on at the end. And at least one of the brands was for Sears.
