Yodle Complaint - Switching to Yodle was a big mistake
We are a large user of adwords, our monthly budgets are well into the 5 figue range. WIth that kind of commitment, I was intrigued by the sales pitch that yodle would produce more for less. I knew enough about adwords to know that with constant tweaking, results can be improved. I thought to myeslf that this might be worth a shot. The results were utterly disasterous. A number of times in the first few weeks we were in the worng areas (like 2000 miles away) and not in our target areas. There were system glitches on their end which caused our ads to stop showing all together. You would think that these types of things would be a shocker for their service team. THey didn't seem surprised at all. What I then realized was that I had turned my entire campaign over to a pathetic group of idiots who really seemed to know much less about google adwords than I did. It seems like their whole operation is designed to take as much money from you as quickly as possible.
There's no way that the service department could be so utterly inept if they had any intention at all of keeping customers long term. I did quit after 3 months of absolute torture and am now running the campaign myself. I'm not someone who normally writes reviews, but I thought I'd post the warning I'd wished I would have had before I signed up with these guys.
