Simon Long Removals Thetford Norfolk England Complaint - Unfair And Unjust Company!!!!!

Review by Britlady on 2009-12-17
Simon Long Removals, Thetford, Nofolk, UK. I called this company from another country to give a quotation for storage of some items in a house in Thetford, UK. They happily agreed to do this, they set up a date, got the keys from the Estate Agents who were selling the house and they turned up to do this. The Estate Agents mind you, not Simon Long let me know that they could not do the job until the storage items in the Attic were brought down (bearing in mind this is a fully functional walk through and huge attic with proper pull down stairs, one which they had no qualms about when taking items down from it before when the American government where paying them to do it!). They did not email/call me regarding this, I heard this through the Estate Agents. So the next day I called them and got an answer, oh no they were not going to do that job as "Simon" the boss says not to??? So, I ask to speak to Simon but he will not speak with me?? I can only presume that they have learned since this is a repossession house, they are assuming that they will not be paid for their services. The reason for the repossession they have not a clue that it is being fought in a legal case for wrongful repossession and the fact they would have been paid up front for this. The mere fact that Mr Simon would not speak to me speaks volumes about him and his company, they are too big to deal with my house contents but not big enough to talk to me on the phone!!!! I would like to see how they will manage when the local AF Base closes and all their international clients wave goodbye!

This might be a bit off topic, but I can't help but wonder why United kingdom is always used now. What ever happen to England or Scotland?

How is this unfair or unjust? No one has to work for you. They looked at the job, decided not to do it. They told your agent, the Estate Agent. What else did you expect?
