Dillyeo.com Complaint - Promise Everything - Deliver Nothing

Review by ckberg on 2009-12-17
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS -- Bought a computer in September- next day had a financial emergency - I sent 3 e-mails through their "contact us" part of the website- the order status showed "pending" which I thought would change to cancelled after my credit was issued. After about 5 weeks, I received the product. I complained, as I thought it had been cancelled, and I didn't want to spend $30 bucks to send it back. - got a friendly e-mail from them telling me to KEEP the merchandise and they would refund my money, as they never received my cancellation requests due to a "virus problems" with their on- line cancellation service. At first they said they would credit my Visa, then they said they would credit me through PayPal. After 10- 15 subsequent e-mails, I have no refund. Now, they are IGNORING any correspondence I send them. I am a senior living on a fixed income - their behavior is deceptive and unprofessional.

I have filed a complaint with the IL. Atty. General, and will take it further if I have to. I have kept all of their e-mails, which have turned out to be full of empty promises.

So you still have the computer, and want a refund? Is this company still in business, by allowing that kind of option?

All they did was send you what you ordered.
