CVS Complaint - CVS email egift card gift card problems
I just spent an hour at CVS trying to use one of these. The cashier didn't even know that these existed and wouldn't take it. I was told to come back at 2:00 when a manager would be in. I was there at 2:00, but the manager wasn't. An hour and multiple phone calls later, I left discouraged and fed up with CVS and their egift cards. Customer support is still working on this, but I just wanted to caution everyone about using these. There seem to be some problems in at least this store's system.
I just spent another 40 minutes at a different CVS trying to use another one of my egift cards and still had problems. That makes a total of more than one and a half hours I have spent in the store trying to redeem these gift cards. After having problems at this store, I advised the cashier to follow the directions that others online have proposed, but the issue is yet unresolved, and CVS refuses to substitute physical cards for my faulty egift cards. Apparently, the cash registers show a zero balance on two of my cards even though corporate shows the correct balance. CVS does not seem to be concerned about losing a regular customer, and this seems to be a systemic problem.
