Southwest Airlines Compliment - Change of Name on Ticket
I had a free ticket on Southwest Airlines. My fiance wanted to fly from Burbank to Philadelphia in March/April. I let her use my rewards to book it, but as she booked it online using my account, she forgot to change the name of the ticket under her name. She realized this as soon as she confirmed, which was too late to change online.
I called up Southwest Airlines, knowing that it would be a long wait due to all of the calls they must be getting now due to the weather and busy travel. It was only a 40 minute wait, which wasn't bad at all. The lady who answered was very helpful, saying that it would be no problem to change it. She just canceled my ticket, and then re-issued the ticket under my fiance's name. She was very nice and helpful throughout the entire procedure.
This is actually one of the reasons why I prefer to call Southwest when booking a ticket, they are always very helpful and if I'm ever concerned about anything, they are nice about answering my questions, no matter how stupid of a question I have.
