Footlocker Complaint - False advertising - poor customer service

poor customer service - Complaint
Review by chillywill on 2009-12-21
ARLINGTON, TEXAS -- My wife and I went the Foot Locker at 4211 s. cooper st. arlington, tx. and bought 219.99 in merchandise. we had a $60 off $200.00 coupon with no exclusions. they gave me my discount the first time then my wife tried to use the coupon(same type) the next day for another purchase of $200.00 plus (3 coupons on flier sent via mail to us)and they said it did not apply. And when she was there they just kept helping other customers and didn't seem to care. so we called customer service and the did nothing as usual. They said each store has the right refuse to any coupon even if another store will accept. We had the first receipt in hand. The customer service department is a joke and no one has done anything to resolve tis matter. Foot locker also stated that the shoes we were buying were hot itiems so they stopped taking the coupons. What a bunch of B. S.(manager name was Reagan)(he can't even read his own coupon)

"They said each store has the right refuse to any coupon even if another store will accept." Does this mean you went to 2 different stores or was CS just saying that to say that? Either way they are backing his decision on refusing the coupon, I guess each store has that right. Although the coupon was the same, the shoes were not.
