Best Buy Complaint - Best Buy's anti-commercial division
COQUITLAM -- I have a small business here in Vancouver, Canada. I provide a variety of IT Services including digital signage services. I recently received and order for 6 Kiosks with 42" LCD TV's for shipment to Frnce in 10 days. It was a tight schedule but we were confident it could be done.
I checked with the local Best Buy store here in coquitlam and the fellow was friendly but couldn't give me a price reduction on 6 units because he was not in thecommercial division. No problem - he said he would take my name and have someone call me. 3 days later - no call. I went back to the store on a day the commercial sales people were in, found the same guy from 2 days ago and he found someone else who went to get the commercial sales guy. 30 minutes later I go looking for the CS representative and just as I'm about to walk out the door and take my $6500.00 walk in order somewhere else, he shows up. We completed the transaction and I moved on to my next purchases elsewhere. Didn't say a word about the sloppy service.
4 weeks later I get an email from Best Buy commercial division asking for the model numbers on the LCD's I would like a quote on. I responded with the question - 'are you serious'? I let him know about my ordeal and sadi that there was no possible way I could put them on my list for commercial sales - there was no trust. The person on the receiving end apologized and said that he just received the request that day! Whats' up with that?
