American Freight Complaint - Worst Customer Service EVER!!!
LEXINGTON, OHIO -- My husband & I went shopping on "black Friday" & decided to stop in at the Lexington Ohio American Freight store to price out a mattress & box spring & couch. We found what we were looking for so we ordered the couch since they would not sell us the display model & was told 3-4weeks for the couch. Asked if we could put mattress set in layaway till week of Christmas since it was a gift for our son & was told certainly! So we go ahead & pay for our merchandise in full & go on our way. 3 wks later we call to check status on couch & was told closer to 1st week of Jan. - well ok then so we go up to pick my sons mattress & box spring up & purchase fram & headboard as well...was told they no longer had that bed set in stock & would have to "upgrade" us to the next set-we said sure for the same price since THEY screwed up & oh no-they would not do that & at the same time we were told our sofa that was suppose to be only 3-4wks till in became 7-8weeks!! With all this I was soooo mad I cancelled the whole damn order & REFUSE to ever shop or say anything good about American Freight! Lost out on a very good sale because they wouldn't make things right & wanted us to spend even more $$ then we had already!! Off to our local furniture store for REAL customer service!!
