Comcast Corporation Complaint - Installation
I had my cable installed by Comcast few weeks ago. I had been so eager to write about my experience because I felt so bad about their new rules or whatsoever that company calls it.
The technician Comcast sent was very impolite in the first place. I guided him through with regards to the connections and whatever information I believe he may need. But I noticed he was arguing with almost everything I say, I feel like he doesn't even want to do the job.
But considering me and my husband just moved in I just wanted the work done.
Eventually despite of his arrogance I let him continue with his work. Then in the process he said I may not be able to install anything because I can't drill holes in the wall. I told him you don't need to there are ways and means to install without drilling holes and you guys should know better because you're trained to do that.
Then I figured out eventually that they have this new rule that they can't staple wires anymore and I ended up talking to the manager and he said they need the landlord's permission. I told him I can get it now but I believe Comcast just doesn't want to do the extra work. They can save time with the installation if they just leave all the wires hanging and in a mess rather than fixing it on the wall like they use to. I don't know what else will they do to in the future to save time and earn more money.
It was a frustrating experience. But it was worse because the technician Comcast sent was so rude and doesn't know how to talk to people. I ended up screaming at him and telling him just do what you gotta do and get out.
