Crocs Complaint - Customer service stinks!!!!

Review by dutchandme on 2009-12-23
NIWOT, COLORADO -- I ordered a pair of mens crocs online for a Christmas gift on 12/14. I received the package on 12/21. I opened the package and before even taking them out of the box one of the straps was broken off. I called the customer service # and they told me if I wanted them before Christmas I would need to pay for the pair to be overnighted. Once they got a tracking # to prove I sent the broken pair back then they would send out a new pair and reimburse me for the overnight shipping costs. Oh did I mention it was 8:40am and in order for the new pair to go out & be here before Christmas I had to be at a Fedex location no later than 10:30am that day? Oh yeah, I work like the rest of America so I can't just up & leave. I went on my lunch hr to return the pair and emailed the CSR my tracking #. I received and email back stating that I had to send them digital photos of the shoes so they could determine whether or not they needed to send me replacement parts or a new pair, really, digital photos, replacement parts?I received the merchandise broken to begin with. I should be able to have a brand new pair sent, I shouldn't have to repair them before they are even worn. I love Crocs and have many pair myself but I will never purchase anything from Crocs again. They have the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. They certainly will not only lose my business but I have also shared my experience with many others......

i like my crocs - i have a set of croc flat heels. yes they actually make girly flat heels

the strap broke off but they were like well over a year old by then, so i broke the strap off the other one to make them match again.

they're nice for when i just don't want to put on regular shoes
not right now though cos it's snowing but in the summer or spring, or even fall sometimes... not bad

A lot of medical people like Crocs because they are comfortable and it's easy to clean blood and barf off of them. It doesn't make a doctor or nurse "gay" to wear them. I hate when that term used like it was above. Yes, they are ugly, but they are practical. I hope the OP gets the issues ironed out.

the g*y comment was uncalled for. My mom is a nurse and loves them because they are comfortable for the long hours that she is on her feet.
