Kohls Complaint - Kohls Gift Cards - Every gift card must be reviewed!
I submitted 2 e-gift cards from Kohls 2 days ago. I called my daughter and told her to expect them. (Previous ones took 2-3 minutes) After about 5 minutes, I received an email that they were sorry but they would be sent shortly as there was a processing delay. After about 5 hours I looked to see the status and they were still showing submitted. I called and spoke with someone who assured me that they were still in the process and they would be sent shortly. After now 10 hours of waiting, I checked online and they had been canceled. I called yet again and after verifying name, address, cc#, email address, recepient's email address, amount of gift card, name on cc, color of the Mojave Desert, what food did I last eat and last transaction at the porn store, she told me that I had failed to put my middle initial in the NAME AS IT APPEARS ON CARD, so upon review they canceled the order. I spoke with my daughter and asked if Target, Kmart, Walmart, or ANY place OTHER than Kohls would be ok and that was a no. So, I did everything again and guess what? SUBMITTED - I called this morning and was transferred to someone who again reviewed my order...She said that they were reviewing EVERY SINGLE E-GIFT CARD request and called me in the morning but it was too early. ???? So, now I'm peeved and just asked why they didn't post that all gift cards would be reviewed AND the customer should call to verify if needed quickly? Again, she said that they review all gift card requests within 24 hours. I've never heard of that and now...I hate Kohls even more.
