Best Buy Complaint - Return Policy Scam!!!
GERMANTOWN, MARYLAND -- I tried to return a lap top that I purchased my child at the Germantown Best Buy. The software was faulty and while I was at store to return it, the Geek Squad Agent informed me that it could be easily corrected by down loading a disk. She gave me the company's phone number to order the disk and when I tried to down load the software, I was unable to do so. So, therefore, I went back to the store to return it. I was then told that I could not return it because it had been over 14 days. When I tried to explain that I had tried to return it and was "talked into" doing otherwise, the manager, Julie, informed me that she still would not return it AND tried to charge me $130.00 to have it fixed. BEST BUY HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER AND HAS TRIED TO CHEAT A SINGLE MOM OF 3 KIDS OUT OF MONEY!!! BIGGEST SCAM! WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE AGAIN!!!
