Lenovo Complaint - Inadequate customer service
I bought an Ideapad from Lenovo in October. I am allowed the free upgrade to Windows 7. Unfortunatley, serving in Afghanistan, the connection won't remain up on our network. So I called Customer Service for assistance. Even after explaining I was in Afghanistan and tried their web page I still could not get through the order sequence to get the disk. Customer Service told me there is nothing they can do. My only option is to order the disk through their on line page. I asked if they could order if for me, they said "no". When I asked for a supervisor I got the same answer then they hung up on me. I have bought two laptops from Lenovo, but I can assure them it will be the last. I will order computers for my company back in the states through any other vendor. That was the absolute worst treatment I have ever received by any customer service. So much for supporting the military overseas.
