Aflac Complaint - Poor Customer Service
ROWLETT/ DALLAS, TEXAS -- My husband was trying to cancel his Aflac Insurance and was only told from his companies HR that he couldn't. His companies HR representative said that she could call Aflac and have them call him to explain. He didn't hear from anyone so he called himself. The Aflac representative said that she would call him back after 5pm that day to talk about it. We waited, and at 9:15pm she called, my number (which isn't any of the numbers my husband gave her to call) and asked for him. Call that time of night I thought something had happened to his mother, and I asked who was speaking and let her know that he had already go to bed. She wanted me to tell him that she would call him the next day after 5 pm. I told her that we had expected her to call that day after 5, but we thought it was going to be a little closer to 5pm. My husband called her again the next day, and she said that she would not talk to him, he asked for just 5 minutes of her time, she stated that she had already spoke to whom ever answered the phone the night before, (me) his wife or whatever she was. Then she hung up. I had looked up Aflac and explained to him my self why he couldn't cancel it, and that was all he wanted to tell her. When she called back, he had to apologize to her? and told her to leave it the way it was. I just wanted her to know that I was his wife. Talk about rude, and very unprofessional.
