Priceline.com Complaint - Stay away from Priceline
I booked a car via Priceline on Dec. 10. On Dec. 19 I was contacted by Pricline via email saying my car rental had been rejected. I then attempted to book another car via Pricline but none of my bids was accepted. Therefore, I went to another company to book my car. 3 days later Priceline tells me that I do have a car with them, the one from Dec. 10 which was first accepted, then rejected. I contacted Priceline via email to ask that they cancel the Dec. 10 rental that THEY had told me was NO LONGER VALID. They refused. 7 emails and 2 phone calls later, they still refuse to take responsibility for sending me an erroneous email. Not only is their refusal to own up to their mistake bad business practice, but it is clearly unethical. Unethical behavior should not be rewarded by customers. Their customer service department should be retitled "Customer Disservice".
