Juniper Bank Complaint - Customer Service
This is in regards to Juniper credit card:
What a horrible experience I have had with this company. I always send my payments via certified mail because this company tried whacking me a late fee once on a payment I KNOW THEY RECVD, via the confirmation from the USPS . I just received a letter stating my APR was going from 7.9% to 30.00% due to late payments!!! I had received one late payment in the past and they stated I had late payments over three times in the past year. I had never even received late fees for these so called "late payments" they stated they had "waived them". Why would any credit card company "waive" late payment fees??? I always mail my payments certified mail, normally with a confirmation. The payment center is in PA and I only live in ME. I spoke to customer service and they were rude, as expected. I closed my account and they stated my payment was due on Jan 8th and even with a overnight delivery it may not be received in time??? I am simply livid with this company. I wish I had read these reviews prior to accepting the card. Thankfully I have a very small balance, I intend to send the payment overnight delivery and will make absolutely certain I keep the delivery confirmation and make certain they do not try and keep the account open. I would strongly advise anyone not to consider this company for any credit card services.
