AAA Complaint - AAA disappoints again in Omaha
It just seems to me that AAA is stretching itself too thin. I waited over an hour the first time I needed towed. While they towed my car, my family remained stranded as the truck they had to haul a family had broken down, or so I was told. Now I'm stuck in the middle of my apartment complex parking lot and I'm told that since I'm near my home, it's not an emergency and they won't even put me on a wait list for help. I would have understood "super low priority", but I was not happy with what I saw as a "tough luck" message coming from them. Fortunately, I'm a young guy and can eventually walk the two miles to a store to get what I needed to get unstranded, but I feel sorry for the poor jerk who makes the mistake of being elderly or disabled and on this companies plan. I find most people who work for AAA friendly and helpful, but it seems to me that the company does not really care about taking the customers money and investing it in helping the customer, but merely skimming as much of the profits as they possibly can from it. It would take too long to explain my exact situation but trust me, it's not as simple as not being able to get out of my parking space, something must be done and now I have no one to help me do it.
