Ameritech Informative - Still Waiting
Since my last letter regarding my DSL service I have received a correct modem and have high speed internet access. However, I am still waiting for the return labels to return the 2 inappropriate modems that were sent to me, as well as an appropriate adjustment on the bills that have been sent me. I have received two bills covering the same period of June 14 - July 13th, one for over $200 and the second one (for the same period) for over $300. Come on now Ameritech! Stupidity and ignorance notwithstanding, let's get it right, and provide me with an appropriate billing for the service and circumstances YOU have brought upon me. Three strikes only work in baseball.
I would like to receive the 2 return labels that I was assurred by Charlotte I would receive for the 2 modems that were sent to me in error.
I would also like to hear something from Ameritech regarding adjusting my account for the 2 1/2+ month I was without DSL service, though I was billed for it.
And I would like to know why I have been sent two bills covering the same period w/ no adjustments for the lack of service, each showing over $200 and $300 in charges respectively.
