Bookinhotels.com Complaint - Unsatisfactory service with bookinhotels.com
My husband and I booked a room in Paris at the Antin Trinite Hotel for the nights of 1-3 September 2009 through bookinhotels.com and paid in full with our credit card. While we were in Venice, 2 days before leaving for Paris, we got notification that our reservation had been cancelled, but that we would be receiving a refund for the amount paid to bookinhotels.com. They suggested that we may still be able to re-book our accommodation directly with the hotel (and, of course, pay again). This we were able to do, but we are still waiting for a refund from bookinhotels.com. I have sent numerous e-mails asking when we can expect this refund, but to date, we have received absolutely nothing from bookinhotels.com. Now that I've seen the problems that other travellers have experienced, I'm afraid that we will never see a refund for this reservation. If we do happen to receive a refund, I'll post and let you know. In the meantime, I wouldn't book with this company again!
