I'll agree that it sucks but I wouldn't let something like that ruin my Christmas.

it irks me when people are now saying "they ruined my christmas because i never received my (insert complaint here)." getting presents is not what christmas is about. what happened to just wanting to spend time with your family on christmas?

Shanesteezy ordered Xmas gifts for 4 other people, not for themselves to receive...It spoiled his/her Christmas because the recipients never got them.

I sent off Christmas cards late, but I didn't let that ruin my Christmas. So, they get their gifts late... big whoop. It really shouldn't matter. I'm sure the friends would understand.

So the OP couldn't shop at any "five and dime" store for coffee makers and ship them him/herself? The person that ruined their Christmas is the person that they see in the mirror. IMO

old fart: i just don't see how it matters. i'm sure this person is still going to be your friend whether they get a present or not, even if it's late. what about all of the people who got NOTHING for christmas this year?
