Earthlink Complaint - Earthlink fraudulent billing and incompetant customer nonservice
After we discovered monthly $9.95 charges on our credit card for a phone we no longer had and a service we never used, I called to cancel but the India customer non-service people did not actually cancel it despite notes in their own system about my complaint. After assuming it was cancelled, six months later I noticed we were still being billed. They refuse to credit the six months of charges from the first time I called to cancel. THIS IS BEYOND UNACCEPTABLE BUSINESS PRACTICE. I EVEN FAXED THE CEO WHO DID NOT BOTHER TO RESPOND. THIS IS DEFINITELY THE MOST BLATANTLY DYSFUNCTIONAL COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. I AM SO FRUSTRATED AND ANGRY OVER THIS THAT I CAN ONLY SAY, BEWARE, AVOID, BEWARE, AVOID DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY!!!
