Ugg-us.com Informative - Counterfeit UGG boots

Review by Rob6112000 on 2009-12-28
I was looking for boots for my wife. In a hurry, I found a website offering ugg boots at 40% off. I received the boots about two weeks after my order. they were shipped directly from China. within a few days of wearing them, threads came loose and seams fell apart. went back to the website only to find. no address no phone number not even an email address. the site does have a contact page where you can fill in your information and comments. no response. after a little research I found that Decker Footwear is the holder of the UGG australia trademark and the maker of ugg boots. they have a page where you can enter the web address of suspected counterfeit sellers. Ugg-us is on their list. they also have a list of actual ugg retailers. I filed a fraud complaint with my cc company. will see what happens. anyway just posting this as a FYI

any "authentic" high priced items that come from china are obviously fake.

yes, had a bad feeling when I saw china shipping labels. the genuine ugg austrailia boots are made in china as well, by an american company but have nothing to do with australia. uggs are type of boots in australia not a brand. there a lot a great boots available from aussie store in the ugg style. unfortunatly they cost a lot to ship.
