Samsung mobile Complaint - Slite problem - cell phone sgh-a237

Review by digger06 on 2009-12-29
I may have done something to cause this, so if no one else reports this, It could just be me. I got my phone in the beginning of October, and it is the end o December now. My phone was working fine, and then one morning and went to send a text message, but none of the buttons worked except the hang up button. I was soooooo mad.

Have you called customer service? Or visited http://www.samsung.com/us/support/main/supportMain.do
to troubleshoot what's wrong with your phone?

Read your instruction manual. I got a dollar to a dog biscuit you accidentally locked the keyboard, a definite possibility with every cell I have seen.

There are lots of things that can go wrong with cell phones and I can name many, and, also a lot that can be caused by the owner too. Call your cellular provider and get them to troubleshoot your phone with you and ask them to see if it's still under manufacturer's warranty. If it's a phone defect they should be able to swap it out as a warranty exchange, if it's physical damage, check if you have insurance.

It sounds as though your phone need a software update. Although it could possibly be liquid damage as well. Usually when a phone starts to freeze, it needs a new version of software which is constantly being updated by the cellular companies. A phone is like a mini computer, when it does not have the latest software it freezes, scrolls, and even power cycles on it own. Try resetting the phone setting by taking off the battery, and putting it back in after 35 seconds, you can even go into your phone under security and revert the phone back to the manufacturer default, but I would allow a professional to do this. Take it in for technical issues to be on the safe side.
