ALISO, CALIFORNIA -- On 12/23 I ordered a 2-gig memory upgrade from buy.com with a Visa gift card that was a present from my daughter. I will say that it had her name on it as the card holder BUT! After denying the order, thay placed a "pending" status on my card so that the funds were not available for me to order from another supplier. When I contacted them by phone, they said it woulb be two working days before the lock was removed. As of today, 12/30, they still have not removed the pending status from my card so that these funds are not available for me to use. This appears to be a fradulent lock so buy.com or their vendor can hold money in their slush account. BE CAREFUL using BUY. COM
